Music festivals on the scale of Outside Lands are not designed for people with broad or varied tastes, and once again, the set-time schedule reveals a variety of moments when fans will have to make difficult choices, and likely miss an act or two who they'd otherwise like to see.

The Outside Lands lineup this year looks a lot like the Portola Fest lineup of the last couple of years, with acts like Charli xcx and RÜFÜS DU SOL topping the bill.

If you've purchased tickets for Outside Lands in the last five years, you'll be eligible to see the 2026 lineup and pay presale prices ahead of everyone else this year — and there is a second presale that gives everyone early-bird access as well.

Festivalgoers who were seeking some sun couldn't catch a break this year at Outside Lands, but most of the artists liked our natural air conditioning and moody fog, and the three-day festival closed things out with another round of great sets.

The crowd was dense but mostly well behaved on Day One of Outside Lands, and even the dance stage/area seemed relatively tame. Maybe it's true what they say about the kids not drinking or doing drugs anymore.
